Paddy Fahey's
This is the second Fahey tune in a set of jigs on The Well Tempered Bow by Liz and Yvonne Kane, following the Paddy Fahey's jig I posted here yesterday.
This one's a bit more of a finger twister on fiddle, and definitely gets your bow jumping across the strings, but it doesn't need to go fast to sound good, so ease into it. I like the lope that Liz and Yvonne give to it, emphasized with some well-placed cuts and triplets. Watch for that lone c sharp in the B part.

this is wierd. i can't get this tune to print out from my abc2win program. i've never had this problem before. all the other recent tunes work fine. any ideas?

It could be one of several factors. I'm no abc expert, and I don't mess with abc software at all, so I'm probably blowing smoke here. But...does it matter whether there's a space bewteen the colon and the labels in the abc header fields? You could try deleting the space. Also, I neglected to put a double bar line at the end of the A part. Could that be fouling things up? Finally, maybe abc2win doesn't like the line of text introducing the final ending. Delete that and give it a try.
