Waltz for Janice
This tune I composed in 1989 and it is still played in the Si Bin in Frankfurt (Germany). Hope you like the tune.

There seems to be a rhythmic conflict between the 'A' music and the 'B' music. 'A' = jig and 'B' = waltz. is this intended?

This Tune is played as a waltz in both parts.

Looking at the sheetmusic I had to change the last bars of each part.

I've just run it through on my piano and would like to make the following suggestions. In the 'B' music tie the top 'B's. play the second bar a2 af de and again tying the top 'A's this time, likewise with bars 5 & 6, then keep the Bm chord in bar 4. I would like to think if you played it this way you would be onto a winner. I would like to have your permission to play this with my band with the changes I have suggested. I love it.

I like the Chords in the B part and the rhythm of the 2nd bar will be destroyed by changing it that way.The Cmajor7 on the 2nd beat is very important for the tune. Try an A9 chord in the last bar . If you like the tune more your way just go ahead and play it like you want to.This tune I composed on a tinwhistle after a session in Frankfurt and I was not allowed to pay my drinks so I composed this tune for the maid behind the bar.
