The Crooked Bawbee
My mother used to sing a song to this melody, but I can't remember the words or even the title.Does anyone know the song?

There is a song "The crooked bawbee" which I remember hearing too but not the words.

This tune appears on Kathryn Tickell's 'On Kielder Side'.
It says, in the notes, "The Crooked Bawbee is a very popular tune in Northumberland .... very well suited to the pipes." - which implies that it is not actually a Northumbrian pipe tune.
