You beat me to the punch!
I had just finished transcribing The Jug of Brown Ale from Kevin Crawford's D Flute Album and ran an advanced search only to find that you had already posted it today under a different title! Well here's my transcription, since it is slightly different:
X: 1
T: Jug of Brown Ale
M: 6/8
L: 1/8
R: jig
K: Ador

Old Man Dillon
BTW I learnt this as "Old Man Dillon" off Terry Bingham's album, duplicated @ http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display.php/2200.

Hmm, on second thoughts Martin Hayes' setting is quite different, particularly in bars 7 & 8 of the B-part, and plays a lot differently if you keep it in G dorian.

Sure enough, Fiddler's Companion says that John Naughton's is a Clare version of Old Man Dillon in Gdor:
X: 1
T: John Naughton's
M: 6/8
L: 1/8
R: jig
S: Martin Hayes: The Lonesome Touch

Also on Mary MacNamara's solo album as John Naughton's. Hayes' version is probably almost the same as MacNamara's because they had been playing together for long. Clare musicians love odd keys, you know.

Similar to Joe Burke's Jig
Joe Burke's Jig (tune #1137 in these archives) is very similar.

John Naughton
His biography can be found at Bernard Parkin's "the East Clare Musicians Website": http://claremusic.tripod.com There's a nice sound clip of this jig played by Naugton himself.
