Nifty tune
With a lot of bounce ... a question - is there an extra bar right at the beginning of the B section? Or is that a 4 beat rest?
# Posted on January 13th 2004 by 2situla
It's a 1/4 rest.

Ben Lennon's version
I transcribed this tune from Ben's playing in Miltown in 2001- he has also recorded it on the recently released "Within a Mile of Kilty". I love his version, which has some elegant double -stopping.

I can't believe none of you credited the composer and source, the County Cavan / Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. fiddler and composer Ed Reavy, and to be found in his publication:

I sometimes don't see what is in front of me. I was probably still back with the 'duplication'...
Also, we've been having computer hell here, and why I've been on the computer off and on all day and drinking over proof Austrian rum, Stroh. The digits aren't doing what I need them to do, mine and the computer's, cramps all around, and this has me exhausted and wound up, so missing the obvious is obviously my state of mind...
Sorry GM, you are usually good about giving credit where it is due...
