From the playing of Jones Jones of The Oyster Band,also in Matt Crannitch's fiddle tutor.It's in 12/8,so I submitted it as a slide,but it sound more like a hornpipe.

The Clog

There's a clog dance that goes with this tune,and then it's played almost,but not quite,in a hornpipe rythym.Listen to the Oysterband's or Matt Crannich's version.I believe this tune is French Canadian.

Jackie Daly's version in D

Jackie Daly plays it in D, with a few differences, more or less as follows. He didn't have a name for it as of July 2005, but sang some words that his grandmother had for the A part:
