The Perils of Drinking
This tune was written on a rainy early-January day in Philadelphia. Originally, the melody alternated between being in C major and A minor. It wasn't until I was playing it with John Brennan at one of the many McGillian/Boyce family weddings in Philadelphia that the melody worked its way firmly into shape. Later that evening, upon the unusual request of a martini while every one else was drinking beer, the tune was named!

Must be the lack of sleep I've gotten over the holidays. I was about to provide info about the tune until I realized who posted it. If I was that easily tricked now, can't wait until the jetlag starts tomorrow.
