Mickey Doherty's
I think I must've learned this off one of the Altan recordings. My basic setting of it sounds full of Mairead's influence.
Mickey Doherty, not incidentally, was the father of famed Donegal fiddler John Doherty. Mickey was also a highly respected fiddler in his day, and this tune shows it's fiddly heritage in the open A string triplets and the D2 FD ADFD run in the 2nd and 6th bars of the B part.
