My first tune
This is the first tune I ever wrote. I wrote it early in 2003, when I was 14. I named it for myself, although nobody calls me Patrick; it is my confirmation name. I would like anybody to feel free to play this song in a session or in any other public setting; there is no copyright on this tune. If, however, some one asks who wrote the tune, please give credit where credit is due. I hope you like my jig; I would be greatly honored if you added it to your repertoire. I will be posting more of my tunes on this site soon. My goal is to write 100 tunes before I turn 18, and I will post them all here.

Balancing it out
Just remember that if you post an original composition, you need to balance that by posting two or three trad tunes before posting your next original composition.

Sure thing
No problem. Thanks for letting me know, Jeremy!

I see I've posted 149 trad tunes to date. Does that mean I can post about 50 of my own tunes? Fortunately, however, the Muse has never inspired me, so the eventuality is not likely to arise

Wow, thanks Danny! As soon as I get around to posting three or four trad tunes, I'll crack out my next composition. Don't worry Jeremy, there won't be 100 of them.
