From "Trian" - Liz Carroll, Billy McComiskie and Daithi Sproule.
The first part really is twice the length of the second. Anyone know it ?

Nova Scotia or Gregory Greene's
If I'm not mistaken, this tune is called Gregory Greene's or the Nova Scotia Reel. My understanding is that it was composed by Gregory Greene, the front man for the New York based band, the Prodigals. I've also heard that he didn't compose it, but merely popularized it. Also, which Trian CD would this be from? I have one of them, and the tune, as far as I can tell, is not on it.

That wouldn't be terribly surprising, as Gregory was one of Liz's students...

Thanks, "Connaughtman". It didn't come from any of their CDs, but from a live recording someone gave me some time ago( and I can't even remember who it was ! ).
