A nice rainy tune.

It is not the same tune as that on the Skylark recording listed above.

Lunasa Version

Lunasa plays this tune in the key of A minor on The Kinnitty Sessions recording.

So what's the common key then?

# Posted on September 22nd 2005 by Phantom Button

Oo, let me guess. The one that Lunasa *doesn't* do it in.

So it's Bb then?

Eh?

Well, anyway, I was playing through this tune last night and suddenly noticed its similarity to the Curragh Races http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/1760. Perhaps they're related.

The tune on Skylark and The Maiden Voyage albums is actually "The Mountain Lark"
