Redowa
I first heard this tune in the early 1980s. It was played, and recorded, by a band called "Iona", who were from in and around Leeds. They called it the "Barnacle Redowa". Checking a dictionary gave the following definition of "redowa" :
"a Bohemian folk dance similar to a waltz or a polka."
Anyone come across the redowa before or know any others?

Gan Ainm by any other name - another 3-part mazurka
I was just considering this and had some vague memory of something similar already noted on site, and I was right. This 3-parter, whatever version, works out well for the Mazurka-Waltz waltzing the third part. Here's one of several versions of it I've known:
