Thanks
I've had parts of that tune taught to me ... but the whole piece is a delight. I've transposed it to the Alto clef and have been working on a duet with Viola and Mandola (CGDa). This is coming along great. Thanks again CJ.

Skye Collection
This tune can be found in print dating back to 1887 in the Skye Collection, which is now available as a second edition by Paul Cranford (http://www.cranfordpub.com/). It's a lovely strathspey. I have also heard it played as a clog by Joe Derrane, very nice. Cheers!

Stirling Castle
This has also been called "Harvest Home" (the tune is unrelated to the hornpipe of the same name), "Grey Daylight" and "The Kirn".
