Farewell To Gurteen
Requested by Johnny Moran. Seamus Tansey recorded this fine jig in 1967 on the "Leader" label, "Masters Of Irish Music" LP.
It seems to have been a bit neglected since then , until Harry Bradley revived it - (and how) - on his first CD. Listed in "Bulmer & Sharpley" Vol 3.

Thanks Kenny for posting the tune. It is also on a CD by Ciarano'Reilly and Dan Healy. They say in the sleeve notes that the tune is rumoured to have been composed by Jackie Coleman.

Farewell to Gurteen
Harry Bradley has this in the sleeve notes of his 1st CD as a composition of Willie Coleman.

"A" part sounds quite a bit like the "Humours of Drinagh".
