I made this simple, little tune years ago without realising it was a slip jig!(hey,I haven't been into traditional music for that long).I usually play it on mandolin, but it sounds very nice played on a low whistle, though with some more ornamentation. Please let me know if anybody likes the tune, because not many people have heard it.

Slip Into Something
Is not easy to judge a tune by the dots only...
At first i didn't like it.
I played it several times, and I now I like it.

Slip in to something
For my ears ( and on the flute ) the first part works better in the
lower octave.

Hermundstad, did you name this tune before or after you discovered it was a slip jig?

The tune was named quite recently when I finally wrote it down.
I have several other tunes I'm working on the notation for,but actually writing down the tunes is a bit new to me.

Slip into something comfortable
IMHO a tune with this title has definitely to be combined with 'An Phis Fhliuch' !
