As a Highland
Not surprisingly, this is also played as a highland in the north of Ireland. I learned it c. 1979 as "Jamie Duffy's" from Gary Hastings. Jamie was the brother of the late Eddie Duffy, a flute player from Fermanagh.

The Four Provinces Fling No.3
This is a version of a very common Scottish strathspey called "Lady Mary Ramsay", and can also be found in Ireland under such titles as "The Queen's Shilling" and "Forget Me Not".

"Lady Mary Ramsey" ~ several reincarnations
As 'nigelg' has put it, these tunes tend to be in origin 'Strathspeys', at least in their earliest form as we know them, in Eire they were used and played for and called as 'Highland Flings', and when the dance was no longer about, they served another use as reels... A good melody will persist, whatever the name given it...
