Original tune by Isaac Alderson

composed by me (Isaac Alderson)

One day I was talking with my good friend Caitlin Warbelow on Instant Messenger, and we were discussing the fact that my roommate at the time had half a bottle of vodka left in our refrigerator. Caitlin said, "You should drink the rest and hide the bottle." I thought that would be an excellent tune name, so I wrote this slip jig on the spot.

Great title

I like it. But then, I'm a real sucker for for slip jigs anyway.

It's certainly a great title for a tune. It wouldn't look out of place in a collection like O'Neill's.

A Great Tune

Thanks Isaac - it's not often we get a new slip jig that's really worth learning but this one is a cracker - I particularly like the C natural towards the end which took a bit of getting used to at first.

Good tune!

So many slip jigs are just gussied-up jigs, while yours really needs all nine notes. That's the test of a good slip-jig in my opinion.

Last note of the second measure sounds good as an F natural; I confess that my ears don't "understand" the F sharp as written.

I also like this tune, and for my ears F sharp in the second misure is OK.
