Roving Bachelor
I owe this one to contributer "slainte". It's the second of the two "Tommy Peoples' " reels on the pre - Altan recording by Frankie Kennedy and Mairead Mooney. I found it quite by accident under this title in one of the "Kerr's " collections of Scottish & Irish tunes. A nice flute tune, I think (as is the first one).

Thanks, Kenny. I've just got a flute, so I'll try this tune on that one.

Northern version of "Pigtown Fling"?
At least that's what it sounds like to me anyway.

this is how I play this on the banjo.
I learnt it from a Mel Bay 5stringer book and adapted it slighlty for the tenor.
I throw in a couple of low Es in the first part.
and some cheeky c's in the second.
