A couple of questions

Hello there, all! I probably ought to have done this before I submitted, but I didn't, and so I'm asking it here. I'm new to ABC, so I wasn't exactly sure how to get the third-octave C note in that kind of notation (in staff notation, the C I'm talking about would appear two lines above the usual staff). So if during the thid part of this tune there's a second-octave C during a triplet instead of a third-octave, it's because of this. If anybody could tell me how to move a note into the third octave, I would be much obliged, and would go in and edit the piece accordingly.
About the piece, anyway; I learned this from The Chieftains 8, where it was paired with The Fairies' Hornpipe. I like the piece because of the springiness of the rythm, so to speak, and so I tried my hand at transcribing it. I hope you enjoy it.

Anyway, to answer your question: to write a note in the third octave, add an apostrophe after the note. (For notes in the lowest octave, add a comma after the note.)

Hmm? Yes, I did do that; went to a site right at the top of your ABC software list, actually. When I did, I only noticed that one flaw in the notation compared with tune as I heard it. Why? Were there more that I didn't catch?

I think some of the C notes you wrote as being "C" should have been "c" i.e., the middle rather than the lower octave.

There was one in the first part anyway. I've since changed it. If it is supposed to be in the lower octave, you can change it back by clicking on "edit the ABC notation" under the ABC tab.

Yeah, I noticed that, and I changed a few of those notes along with some other things I noticed wrong with the tune - like I said, I'm new to this. Anyway, thanks for telling me about that, and I'll try to be more careful and not mess up like I did next time I submit.

One more correction

One more thing - I think the * ba * in bar 21 (the 5th bar of the 3rd part) should be * BA *.
