A ripping jig which folows Shandon Bells & Tar Road to Sligo in a set presented at a local session by our flute player. I like the liberal use of arpeggios throughout. The lively 8ve, 6th & 7th leaps seem to make this tune almost fly.

A great tune Gra5ity! I got an almost identical setting some years ago from concertina player, Dymphna O'Sullivan. At our sessions we usually follow it with Strike the gay Harp and Willie Colemans.

I have a version from 'Paddy O'Brien's Sets: Tune Sets Arranged by Paddy O'Brien, Co. Tipperary', edited by Dave Gabol and John Walsh and available at Ceolas-

The phrasing primarily varies in bar 4 of the second part, though this version also doesn't have the same lead-ins. (FYI- this version has a 7 bars second part. I 'adopted' the 3rd bar of this version from the one that is already posted.)
