It's possible this tune may have been picked up by local Bristol teachers from Kevin Burke's visit to the city a few years ago.

Mick Hanly composed this in G major, though it's commonly played in A now. He wrote it for his daughter, who was born two days before he recorded his second solo album 'As I Went Over Blackwater', on which Jessica's Polka first appeared.
