I fell in love with this tune when I heard it played in Kevin Crawford's "In Good Company," but I gave up learning it by ear at that time because I had just picked up the instrument. Around a couple of weeks ago I accidentally found one version of this reel was available in Richard Moon's tune database and arranged it listening to Kevin and Tommy Peoples' playing. Here is the original the setting.

Many, many thanks to Will for correcting the details of the ABC.

That's because he is from East Clare.

If you hear a tune that sounds like this in a session, but with a different B-part, it could be this one http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/3209.
