A Donal Lunny tune, and the first on his album. The 3rd part is only introduced after 2 cycles of the first 2 parts. The tune sounds more complicated on the record than it actually is because the versions played on fiddle, pipes and flute are very slightly different. The flute version in particular contains a lot of ornamentation and variations, e.g. each bar that goes |DEG GED| is actually realised as |DEG GF/E/D|. In the second part, the flute version retains low Ds interchanged with overblown high Ds (a nice effect), it is phrased carefully, and the 1st bar has a nice variation the first time thru':
