Meeting in the Park
Seeing as we're looking for mazurka's, heres one I wrote a while ago, I wouldn't submit a self written one normally, but for the specific mazurka request. (feel free to scrub it at will Jeremy).
I always wondered if I this wasn't similar to something else I heard sometime in the past, no doubt someone will let me know....

Don't be bashful, Kenn. This is good. It has a slight melancholy feel to it despite being in a major key maybe due to the unusual minor 6th interval in the first part. The last part is in really in D major. I like the title also!

Wrote this tune following a meeting and outdoor session with David Wilkie and Alberta band "Cowboy Celtic", in Princes street Gardens, Edinburgh. David and a CBC cameraman were filming for a possible documentary on the celtic roots of music in the Wild West.
