In Paddy O'Briens record:Stranger at the Gate ?
In the "Details" Folder, this tune is said to be recorded by Paddy O'Brien on his cd: The Stranger at the Gate". I'mlistening to it at the moment and I don't find it. It does'nt appear neither in the souds nor in the tracks list.
Is it a mistake? Anybody has a clue?

Answer
The problem, Pierre, is that “Fr. Newman’s” is also known as “John Brady’s”, who composed it. Someone has listed this as an alternative title, and there is no way for the software at the “Session” to differentiate between 2 tunes which have the same name. Paddy O’Brien has indeed recorded a tune with the title “John Brady’s”, but it’s not this one. An unfortunate feature of “The Session”, but we live with it, and it’s no big deal once you are aware of it. If you think this is bad, have a look at “Paddy Fahy’s” !!!
