From the New England Fiddler's Repertoire. As yet, I haven't found this tune elsewhere.

I know the tune called "Da New Rigged Ship," but it's a three-part Shetland reel, not a jig.

Another printed version
A tune that is a recognizable variant on the one trevor posted here is at the end of the anglo concertina tutor book (1985) by Betram Levy. He doesn't say where he got it.

Trevor, "Da New Rigged Ship" has already been posted to the site:

Just do a search for the title from the front page of the tunes section to see if a tune has been posted.
It's quite different to this tune.

New Rigged Ship
This jig is widely played in North-east England but I don't think that it is originally a Northumbrian Tune.

Miss Finlay's Delight
Yes I've heard it in the Northeast before, but I have a feeling that it might be Scottish originally, maybe Shetland like the reel "Da New Rigged Ship", and the Ador jig usu. called "Da Full Rigged Ship" - both lovely tunes. This particular tune I've heard played in D and G, and it is aka "Miss Finlay's Delight".

USA
Once popular in the USA, not so much now. There is a southern 4/4 version called Green Willis, but Ive only heard once. I prefer the 6/8. The American version is just like the versions posted here.
