The other Maud
I just was playing this tune & realised this setting wasn't listed here yet. This is based on settings by Mary Bergin, Matt Molloy & Frankie Gavin. Except frankie plays it in D & tunes a half step up putting it in Eb. which brings up the old joke, "Why did they call them 'De Dannan', it should have been 'Eb Dannan' " hardy har har....

Eb
Heh, you shoulda seen me as a beginning fiddler trying to master all those tricky Eb reels....it took years for my intonation to recover, hehehe.

Maud Millar
At sessions here in Dublin Maud Millar is usually played after Lady Ann (see http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display.php/59) - they make a great pair!

Another Version
I was about to post this tune a few days ago, but it is like this:
gf|edBA GEDE|G2BG dGBd|e2dB A2GA|Beed efgf|
edBA GEDE|G2BG dGBd|e2dB A2GA|Beed e2ge|
dega bgg2|agef g3e|dega bgg2|aged eage|
dega bgg2|agef g3a|bgaf gfed|Beed e2|
I got this version from a fiddler in Kilfenora, Clare, and that's what Michael McGoldrick plays in Eamonn Coyne's "Through the Round Window."

Lady Ann Montgomery set
At sessions here in Chicago Maud Millar is usually played after Lady Ann and then followed by Molloys. Referred to as the "Lady Ann Montgomery" set.

Maybe you guys should call it the "Lady Maud Molloy" set.
