Someone gave me this tune in abc notation at a workshop last year. I haven't found it in the more commonly accessible books but there is a reference to it on JC's database where it is identified as having been composed by William Campbell in the 18th century. So it's been around a long time.

However you take it this is a great rollicking dance tune, a kick to play and move to... For the B-part that third 12/8 bar taking it high can be used as a second ending, playing it low the first time through... As you'd expect, it works nicely as octaves too...
