Are these dots correct ? I have been completely unable to find any version of this on the net, and so am just working off the memory of how I heard it from a bouzoukist friend whom I see but once a year.
I imagine it's a 6-8 pipe march. It's certainly Scottish.The B part has this compelling cross-rhythm/ tension which people like.

Bad start to the year....
No, the dots are not correct. It was recorded by "The Tannahill Weavers", but they give no information about the tune on the sleeve notes to the cassette tape of the recording which I have. It is a jig, not a 6/8 pipe march, and as with all Scottish pipe tunes the first thing you should have asked is "does it have 4 parts". It does, and you've only posted half a tune. It can be found in the "John Macfadyen Collection" Book 2.

I guess by implication what I was implying was that if someone ( you ?) does know the tune correctly, s/he could post that. Not all of us have Macfadyen's collection ( nor even wish to get it). I just like this tune, and want to know how it really should be played.
So, are the 2 parts I've posted at least correct ?

It's pretty close. I don't have a copy of McFadyen's 2, but the Tannahill's version is basically (sans grace notes):
