Hello "session" friends,
This tune is dedicated to the city i was born; Rio de janeiro. I hope you guys could give it a try, and i would like to hear your comments so i could keep improving. I like to play traditional tunes but i like to compose as well, as this helps me to enter more and more on the fascinating world of Irish Traditional Music.

Can I submit my own compositions?
Well... The Session isn't really intended for that. If you do post one of your own compositions, then you must do your "penance", so to speak, by balancing each original composition with about five trad tunes.
Lots of people put their compositions in their profile (see mine, for example) instead of posting them here.
Not that I want to put you off or anything, it's great that you're giving composing a go, keep at it!

Thanks for your reply. Did you try to play the version I post on ABC Navigator2.0? It works pretty well there. Maybe if you play it on ABCmus willl not work that good as you loose one repetition. So if you are playing it on ABCmus, you shall play like these:

It's ok. I rarely post my compositions on the session. But its a good idea to post it on profile, i didn't realize that was possible and it looks more convenient.
Just one question: Did you try to play the tune? I believe it will be great this tune with pipes and fiddle ;D

Hi Alex,
I didn't play it through, but the ABC you've submitted initially doesn't have an opening repeat mark in the B section. If you could update it before the sheet music is posted that'd be helpful.
If you copy your abc into the tool here http://www.concertina.net/tunes_convert.html you'll see what I mean.
