This is one of Conal Ó Gráda's tunes which he taught this year at Cruinniú na bhFliúit. I have tried as accurately as possible to include the ornamental cuts he puts into the tunes. This, along with his glottal stop, is what gives his playing such a great pulse. I should point out that these cuts are exactly as he wrote them down during the workshops. In order to illustrate his variations I have written the tune out twice, exactly as he played it in the class.
The tunes he taught in this class were some of the best illustrations of how to understand Irish music that I have ever seen. I will try to submit transcriptions of all of the tunes he taught his year.

thanks kenny for this transcription...! it is really great tune, and all of his tunes on raw bar collective are great...

yes kenny, i know that it was other kenny.....
in my country we could call person by first name or second name. i thought that in niall kennycase, kenny is his second name, so i as i don't know him at all, i thought that it was more apropriate to call his by his second name .....
