Humours of Bath

This version is adapted from 'Old English Popular Music' Vol 2 (1893) by William Chappell. It is in the key of E flat in the book. It cites John Watts' 'Musical Miscellany' of 1729 as the source, where words are set to the tune (written in G, and in 6/4, called Bath Medley) by a Tony Aston - "The spring's a coming" .

It also cites Walsh's 'Compleat Dancing Master' (1740), where the tune is again in 6/4 under the title of 'Bath Medley' and slightly different:
