Something a bit different- a cheery wee tune by Duncan Chisholm from his album Canaich. I'm not sure how obvious the rhythm is from the dots so you might need to have a listen to the recording but it's basically 'one-and-a-two-and-a ONE TWO'

Coincidentally, I have just been transcribing this tune for myself. Got the same as you, as it turns out. Wonder if it might be more strictly correct to notate in 10/8? Then each bar becomes 1-2-3 1-2-3 1-2 1-2.

Isaac's welcome to the world.
Yep, it's in 10/8. I'm arranging it to follow Pipe major Evan MacRae's tune Duncan the Gauger in 6/8.

Written, of course, in jubilation of the arrival of Dunc's son.
