This tune is from Blowzabella's album, Octomento. I like to play it as a polka, though I think it's more a schottischey type of tune on the album.

Actually, it's a two time bouree, not schottishe. Great tune though, thanks for the transcription. :)

My bad, yes you're right. I still like playing it as a polka, though it's great as a bourrée too. As a bourrée I'd double the bar lengths (keeping note values the same) and write it in 4/4 I think.

No, don't put it into 4/4; bourrées are generally (always?) in 2/4 or 3/8 for the three-time ones. This one was originally written in G minor by Paul James of Blowzabella. Your transcription was pretty much spot on compared with the published version (in "Blowzabella - new tunes for dancing") apart from a couple of lead-in notes on the repeats. I've cleaned up the abc a tidj as well (the curved brackets you put in the repeats in the B music aren't needed; they get confused with slurs).
