I learnt this off a mate who said he picked it up off Gary Innes.
It is by Donald Shaw, the well known Scottish musician / composer.
Really lovely tune.

It was part of a larger composition if I remember rightly and is sometimes known as March Aurora. I think the composition was originally performed by young musicians from the Highlands too but I could be remembering this information quite wrong...
