Goat's Butter. The
This is another composition believed to be that of Sonny McElligott (Piper) who's habit of Tune Title's was to play on words. This one is the same as he asked one of his daughters' to go and milk the goat to make cheese, however, when the young girl approached the goat butted her. Hence the name of this tune: The Goat Butt Her "The Goat's Butter"..

An unusual polka this.
Goat butter tastes nice and nutty and is not as nuts as it sounds:
20 years ago Irish people laughed at the idea of milking a sheep (to make cheese with). That the title here is a pun rather than a statement shows it was once a bizarre
notion. How tings have changed!
