Didi Cronin's
Again, not sure with the name of this one. I picked it up from this clip of Johnny McCarthy and John Cronin, and Cronin's is what they call the set. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-mAenTq5mQ
This is the slide before the polkas..... http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display.php/10790

Still going strong
Great tunes. Didi Cronin is John's father. John is still playing every Tuesday night in Wallis' Bar in Midleton and sounding mighty. He's got a great feel for the polkas and slides and a lovely manner. A true gentleman of Irish traditional music.

Thanks for the info Dceol. I'll submit the 2nd polka later today. You wouldn't have more accurate names for these by any chance? I suppose being polkas and a slide it's doubtful.

This one John often plays as a slide and calls the slide Didi Cronin's Favourite. People seem to agree with that name.
