The Braes of Locheil

This is played as a slow air or 6/8 pipe march, but I could not see any category in the drop-down menu for marches or slow airs - it's the first tune I have posted here, so I am sure someone will point me in the right direction on hoe to post a march/slow air.
Found the tune recently and liked it and when I looked here on the Session site could find no version of it in abc, so decided to have a go and write it up myself.

Have now read the FAQs - should obviously have done this first! I see that there is a very valid reason for not having a "slow airs" category included. A good example of "When in doubt, read the manual"!

Braigh Loch Iall

The first part is the air for a traditional gaelic song; it was first published as a slow air on the pipes by Donald MacLeod who added the second part. Various singers have recorded it. Try the Tobar an Dualchais website, where you can hear him playing his version, as well as the singer he learned it from, and others.
