One More For The Road
One of mine written for that time in the session when the clock strikes the appointed hour
and we all must pack up and go home. Nobody wants to leave just yet, and so we sometimes
sneak in a couple extra tunes to prolong the magic, if only for a few minutes more...
It came to me over the New Year's holiday, and it has bits of this tune and that in it,
but wonderfully doesn't go where you think it might.
It's a refreshing alternative to Sally Gardens, Sheehans, the Traveller and the like.
The Thai people have a saying for this sort of thing (roughly paraphrased): 'same-same but different'.
