Green gowned lass

I heard this on Martin Hayes & Denis Cahill's "Live in Seattle" CD, where it is coupled with Martin Rochford's Reel. It was difficult to track down - it doesn't seem to be in any of the books (unless it's known by another name) - but a "Google" search under "green gowned lass" did the job.
I think it should be played at a gentle pace, with swing. Haven't got round to ornaments yet. Enjoy!

I think M. Hayes plays it in F

At least on the studio album he does...

A closer look at Hayes' version

Here's a transcription right off the track. The first two times through the tune he puts in pretty much everything you'll hear for the remainder of the tune.

I believe this was written by John Naughton, a Clare concertina player.
