Steering by Aldebaran
This lovely, haunting waltz was written by Dorothy A. Hawkinson, of the Sacramento, CA area (copyright 1999). It was recorded, with Dorothy on fiddle, on the Anne Roos album, "Mermaids & Mariners" (Cambria Master Recordings, 2004). Aldebaran is a bright star in the constellation Taurus. Aldebaran is an Arabic name meaning "the follower" (says Wikipedia). I find the ebb and flow of the tune rock me as a boat floating over large ocean swells.

Pleace check bars no.: 3, 7, 15. They sum up to 9/8. Is that correct?

Steering by Aldebaran ABC details
I think not - G3/2 is a dotted eighth and D/ is a 16th. Comes out OK when I paste it into an ABC converter. Maybe could have written same notes as G>D but I just read that, haven't tried it.

They are not 9/8 bars. This tune is in 3/4 - basically a waltz time. 9/8 would imply that it is a slip jig, which it's not. Look at slip jigs here in the Tunes section and you'll see what I mean. Best of all, listen to slip jigs and then waltzes to hear the difference.
