One Jackie Daly Special, comin' right up!
This lovely hornpipe comes from a tape a friend made me of Jackie Daly's "Many's a Wild Night" album. Since I don't have the liner notes to the recording, I'm unsure if the tune is traditional, or is one of Jackie's own compositions. A splendid tune, either way. If someone does know from whence this tune originates, please let me know. Thanks, and enjoy!

As an email might not reach you soon enough ~ adjusted ABCs
Laying these out in 4-bar phrases is the norm, and best fits the music too ~

Adjusted ABCs?
ceolachan, I can't see any difference?

jay made the changes before the coversion to dots. I'd added tthis here and sent him the same in an email. I didn't want to change his basic transcription, just get it down to 4 bar phrases from the original, which was, if I remember right, 3 bar phrases...
I'll come back later and add something different later.

Thanks for the info on that set, ceolachan. Just out of curiosity, has anybody put the 2nd tune on the site (The old Court)?
