Some background
This, the most recent tune I've composed (on mandolin) was written as a tribute to my late granda, John Crossey, of Derrymacash, Co. Armagh.
A great man for the crack and if there's a God, then I'm sure he'll be good to him!

By the way
I have a rake of original compositions available via my website, Pay The Reckoning. I'll post a few of my personal favourites here over the next few days.
In the meantime, you're welcome to have a look for yourselves at http://www.paythereckoning.com/Origtune.html

John Crossey
I was interested to see your tribute to your late grandad, John Crossey. My great grandad was also a John Crossey, although born in Bath in the mid 1800's. I'll have to include it in my repetoire, and you never know, between the two of us, it could become a regular feature in other sessions!
