The Funny Whistle
A nice Bminor slowish reel - I got this from Colm O'Rua at a banjo mandolin workshop on Skye in 2004. It is the second reel in a set on Daimh's second album Pirates of Puirt. Said to be written by Davy Garrett who I believe is a piper and author of a Scottish whistle tutor book.

An Fhideag Airgid...
or The Silver Whistle is the original name of the tune as well as the name of Davy Garret's whistle tutor.

Another wee gem that I think I'll learn on the banjo as it sounds as if it'll sit well.
I wonder where Davie's hiding out these days? Maybe I should buy his book.
