Nice tune
great bounce. it's in the key of G.
If you take the C sharp out of the key signature
you won't have to naturalise it every time it appears.
cheers..

Key
9 bars are clearly in the key of D and 3 aren't, so D is the correct key. There is a strange leap from C up to B in Bar 8 - should the C be an octave up?

It's a c
Read the abc's, rwarford - it just looks like a b the way the sheetmusic has come out. I think the poster has it right.

You're right
Thank you ethical blend, sadly I cannot be bothered to learn how to read the abc's!! But I should have spotted the natural sign, which should have given me a clue.

You're welcome ...
... and no worries. Abc's are useful though, if you ever feel like giving them a go ... easy to learn if you just start using them (as opposed to actually *trying* to learn them), through something like WinNavigator or something ...

What key is it?
Well, by my reckoning, it's by and large 'D mixolydian', which is a major mode (i.e. two tones from root to third.) It ain't G major, despite the shared notes, the key centre is definitely D.
