The Marquis of Tullibardine's Jig by Niel Gow
This tune, by one of the greatest composers of Scottish fiddle is actually in the hexatonic mode, but minor works well enough. There really isn't a category of "slip jigs" in the Scottish repertoire. As with most Scottish tunes, it should be played slower than an Irish slip jig. Really dig in on the G string here. This is a powerfully gutsy tune. I hope you enjoy it.

If you are playing from the sheet music...
the d in the second measure was changed in the ABC notation to a c (that is, the second measure is just like the sixth).
