This tune is actually in E flat major, but calling it F dorian gives it 3 flats. Written by Angus MacColl.

It is only in Eb because it is played on the Highland Pipes. Normally it would be written in D! That is certainly how it would be written for pipers.

Author correction

This tune was actually written my Mike Katz of the Battlefield Band. The notes from their album, Leaving Friday Harbor, say this-

"Three pipe reels here. The first and last were written by our own Mike Katz. Mike feels that the great Russian clown deserves to have a tune and clan named after him. Thus, "Clan Coco"'.

Oops. Windows Media Player put McColl's name first so I assumed he had written the first tune. Good catch.

Melody correction

Yet another mistake (forgive me, this is my first tune submission...): the last note of the 4th measure should be an Eflat, not an F, and the Eflat in the 6th measure should be an octave up. The first mistake doesn't really matter but the second is pretty significant. I made these corrections in the ABC, but is there any way to change the sheet music to match? *embarrassed face*
