A nice little jig I learned in Scoil Éigse 2008 in the flute class of Aoife Granvile. Its composed by Martin Power, although this version here has a slight wee difference. In the B phrase, there is an evident blues step[ d-d sharp-e-g-g sharp], just my own little touch I thought was nice. This tune has many possibilities for fusions of the traditional style with others of jazz and the blues. For instance, in my school, we have a trad group in which one day when messing and jamming round with a young guitar player, we mixed this with the song Stairway to Heaven. Also the simple guitar blues will also work well. So I hope you'll like this tune, or not which I'd hope not!!!!!!!!!!!!!
