This is a cracking strathspey I found in the Athole Collection (1884) so is obviously traditional.

I'm pretty sure this is also a song, one used for milling frolics, 'fulling' the wet fabric by beating it on a board or table... But, unfortunately, I have't got the books here to check for the lyrics. Both the title and the air strike that chord in my memory, but my memory has been known to pull tricks on me before. I'll keep looking...
