Planxty set
Another great tune that Planxty play in a set with The Lady on the Island, which was submitted recently by Josh Kane . Don't know if the key signature I submitted is correct, not being an expert on modes! Maybe someone can correct this.

Wrong name
You may have noticed I got the name of the tune wrong initially, as I thought it was "Lucky in Love". Oops

Gatehouse maid
Quite often played following "Down The Broom", a pairing which may originate from Sligo.

In answer to your question, no; it was meant to represent a cut from the B# to the B. I'm still a bit of a novice with this ABC melarkey and I was worried about the note being shorter which would cause an error and force me to use rests - I'm too lazy at the mo'! By the way, great session yesterday! I wish I hadn't downed those Duvels before we even got started. See you next week.

Nonexistent note
But... there's no such note as B#. Did you mean C?

Duh!!!!!!!
For an accordion player that has to be a beaut! The only excuse I have is that my mind is on other things... I should be concentrating on the "Active Directory" course I'm (supposed to be) teaching! Cheers Jeremy. Meanwhile, "Taxi for Con

Big tune in Chicago; the old timers like to pair it up with "Down the Broom" as a set. "They go together" is what they'll tell you if you ask, and that's good enough for me.

I love the version on Eoin O Neill's "In session"
